Our only water source is from eight wells located throughout the valley. Please remember to use proper measures when disposing of motor oil and other toxic chemicals. Dumping it on the ground is similar to pouring it into a glass of water you are drinking. We are in control of our water supply. Please help keep it clean. Thank you.

We read your meter every other month on approximately the last 3 days of the even numbered months. See calendar for specific months. Bills are usually mailed within 24 hours of the completion of the meter reading. The accuracy of your bill can be easily checked the day you get your bill by simply comparing the previous and present meter readings that appear on your bill to the reading on your meter. Every year, as with all water Districts, the Green Valley County Water District provides our customers with a
Consumer Confidence Report (formally known as the Annual Water Quality Report). We test the drinking water quality for many constituents as required by State and Federal Regulations. This report shows the results of our monitoring for the period of January 1st - December 31st. As you can see by the table on the CCR, our system had no violations. We’re proud that your drinking water meets or exceeds all Federal and State requirements. We have learned through our monitoring and testing that some contaminants have been detected. The Green Valley County Water District tests for over 150 drinking water contaminants, only the ones detected appear in the CCR. We would like to thank all our customers that help us protect our water sources, which are the heart of our community, our way of life, and our children’s future.
